Patrick Ooi Sales Framework

ALPHA Sales System

The ALPHA Sales System is Patrick Ooi's buyer conversation model. It gives salespeople a sequence for attention, motive, proof, resistance, and next commitment.

Start with the L-CAPS Diagnostic

The five steps

AAttract

Use a hookline that earns attention.

LLeverage

Find pain, pleasure, urgency, and buying signals.

PPresent

Match proof to the buyer's motive.

HHandle

Preframe and reframe objections.

AAction

Close with a clear next step.

Where it fits

L-CAPS identifies the weak sales stage. ALPHA gives the salesperson the words, sequence, and decision framing to move the buyer forward.

Who should use it

ALPHA is for sales teams that already have prospects or meetings, but lose momentum during the buyer conversation. It is especially useful for telesales teams, appointment setters, frontline salespeople, relationship managers, agency teams, channel teams, and regional sales teams that need one sales language across markets.

When to use ALPHA

Use ALPHA when calls sound generic and buyers do not understand why they should continue the conversation.
Use ALPHA when presentations explain features but do not connect to pain, gain, urgency, decision criteria, or proof.
Use ALPHA when objections become price pressure because the buyer has not seen enough value or risk reduction.
Use ALPHA when managers need a simple coaching structure for reviewing calls, meetings, proposals, and closing attempts.

What changes

The goal is not a motivational script. The goal is a repeatable buyer conversation: attract attention, leverage buying motive, present relevant proof, handle resistance, and ask for action while the buyer still has momentum. Patrick Ooi normally pairs ALPHA with L-CAPS so leaders can see whether the team needs conversation training, manager reinforcement, or deeper sales-process consulting.
